The Artist Guild of Northwest Georgia (AGNWG) is sponsoring a national online competition, open to both Amateur and Professional artists, to take place September – December, 2008.
The event will be held online, allowing artworks to be selected for People's Choice Award by web poll, and giving artists wanting to sell their work the opportunity to do so for a low commission and high exposure.
As the exhibit will be visible through the holidays, this is an excellent time to sell your artwork.
Prize List: Best of Show, 1st – 2nd Place and Honorable Mention in each division and category, People’s Choice Award, and AGNWG Merit Award
Categories include:
2-D: Oil / Acrylic, Mixed Media, Watercolor: (watercolor, tempera, gouache), Monochromatic Dry media: (Graphite, Charcoal, Pen/Ink),
Colored Dry Media: (Colored pencil, Pastel), Photography: (no digital art).
3-D: Mixed media (collage & similar), Textile, Etching, Carving, Sculpture, & Pottery.
Deadline for entries is September 1st, 2008.
