I am fairly new to this site and am still figuring it out.  At the ripe old age of 73 I find that many artists and crafters have a similar problem, getting the world to know they are alive and creating.  

I have just had my 6th book published today and am very happy.  I write a weekly art column for free for my local newspaper publishers and the fun is getting to interview all the artists and see their work. 

Over the past two years 2 books have come out of it featuring KY artists and crafters and many of them have told me they have had people call them up to see their work or drop by their studio and have had a slight increase in sales, but a great increase in recognition and this is my way of doing my little bit for the art community.
