Richeson School of Art & Gallery in Kimberly, WI has started holding bi-monthly international art competitions. Right now they are accepting submissions for the Richeson 75: Artist's Choice (any subject). Categories are Figure/Portrait, Landscape/Architectural; Still Life/Floral; Other (including abstracts). Any original 2-D media except computer assisted/generated or photography are eligible. The prizes for this cycle are the biggest ever - $7500 cash Best in Show plus four First Prizes ($1000 certificates for Jack Richeson & Co art materials) amd four Second Prizes ($500 certificates for Jack Richeson & Co. art materials). Finalists and alternates are featured in the on-line Virtual Gallery, e-newsletters, as well as an exhibit at Richeson's spectacular gallery in Kimberly. Finalists, alternates and other meritorious entries are included in the hard-cover, full-color exhibit book. Deadline is Oct 30, 2007.
