I will be one of the silk artists participatng in the " SILK IS ..."  Show at the US District Courthouse, 6500 Cherrywood Lane, Greenbelt, MD 20770 from July 9 to December 27, 2007. Judge Peter J. Missette,of the US District Courthouse, invited SPIN (Silk Painters International, headquartered in Lanham, MD ) to sponsor a juried show for its members. Selected art pieces, demonstrating that Silk Art is one of the Fine Arts, not only a Craft, were chosen by Julia Burke, Chief Textile Conservator, National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC and Clara Graves, noted silk and graphic artist. Other  accepted artists from Russia, Great Britain, Canada, and USA will be available for interviews and greeting  at the Opening Reception on July 19, 2007 from 5:30 to 7 PM..
