You need more white showing the water movement and the red of the house must be carried through to the trees and sligtly water too,( colour balance).
but thats only my oppinion.
I use photos and interpret them, my way so actual colours of the photo does not matter to me as long as perspectve and chiarioscurio, (dark and light contrast), and reflections, shadows those things too, is right and it says what I want it to.
After all we are artists not photocopy machines.

Hi all.....

For those who like to use photos......I just bought "The Ultimate Guide to Painting From Photographs"....edited by James Markle and Layne Vanover. I love this book! It covers all mediums (and also has good exmples of mixed-media) and has a variety of subject matter covered......flowers, landscapes, seascapes, birds, wildlife, buildings & barns, and reflective & textured surfaces. Just thought I'd mention it in case anyone was looking for such a book.
