Alert
Hi, I've been using an aluminum easel for the last several years. It was a big improvement over the first easel I bought but I'm thinking the time is right to move up to a wooden easel. I really want an H-frame but also want something that's not too big or heavy. Searching catalogues and the internet I've come up with the Pablo and Carolina studio easels that sound like they'd work ok for me. Anyone have experience with either of these two easels? I'm wondering how sturdy they are and how the canvas tray adjusts on them. It's always been such a pain to keep the canvas tray on my Stanrite easel straight (180 deg) when I move it up or down. I'm wondering if the "ratchet" adjustment advertised as a feature of the Pablo easel would correct this problem. I'd love to hear some reviews for these easels or if anyone knows of something better, please let me know. Thanks! Ruth
