Wasn't sure this would be the place to post this... When I login & select the remember login box, it doesn't work. Anyone??? Thanks.

Hello, Donna,

You may have some sort of security block in your computer. I know that the "remember login" box works for me on my office computer, but not on my home computer. Also, you may find that if you type in your user name, the password will appear--so at least half of your log-in is remembered.

The same thing has always happened to me. I am using a Mac, with Safari. This does not happen with Wet Canvas; I stay logged in unless I log out. This also does not happen with other web sites.

Hi, Joy and Donna,

I think the two of you may be referring to different things. When you first log in, you have the option of checking a box that allows the computer to remember your log-in data. Then when you go back to log in later, you should be able to simply click in the box and have your user name and password show up (assuming you're using the same computer). This, I think, is what Donna was referring to.

Now, the other issue is how long you will stay logged in if you perform no activity on the forum. This forum is set up to log you out after a period of time if you don't move around or post any messages. I'm not sure how long that time period is--I never clocked it--but it's long enough that you shouldn't find yourself cut off if you're pondering the wording of a post or leave the computer for 15 minutes to make a sandwich. When the forum does log you out, it's not a malfunction--that's just the way this forum is set up, for whatever mysterious reasons the technical gurus had at the time.

That is what I am referring to...perhaps it is working as intended since I only have to click on my user name. I was hoping that I would not have to type the password each time. Thanks for your help.
