Subject: Emoticons + Posts in wrong area

I am using a Mac OSX and tired dragging the emoticons into the body of my message, but just got words in my message. Also how do I remove posts I put in the wrong area? I e-mailed the administrators but didn't get a response yet. I tried to edit my message, and it let me delete my photo, but not my text.
