Is this an active forum or has it been deleted? I've sent in pictures, requests and the same challenge of "Cozy Kid" is still posted for 4 weeks. I am wondering if the site is still active. Thank-you, Susan

I noticed the absence of the administrator, Sailspaw, too. Last All Media Paint Off was 9/24 and Weekly Photo Challenge was 10/02. There have been a number of suggestions. Should we pick up one of them and set it up ourselves as we did at the beginning?

I've also been wondering what has happened on this site. I have no problem with us picking up where things left off, and starting our own threads for this challenge. - Nan

Hi,
I'm a brand new newbie and would love to join in. Bring on Vermont, Susan (or tell me how to bring it up if you've already posted it...)

Thanks in advance from a former New Englander!

We live on theWest Coast, flew back to the New England States last month and tried to see all the covered bridges. So many to choose from, I will attach one to see if you would like to paint it.

Hi Susan, Kathy, Nan - I sent a picture in, too. Sarah (sallspaw) did respond but then nothing else. I agree with all - let's just take it and run with it. We had a good thing going - let's not lose it. Do we want to keep it at a week? Shall we just choose one for our first and then do the other for the second? I'll post my picture here when we need another one. My friend, Carol, is a photographer (by hobby and profession) and has given me permission to use any of her photos here, so we won't be lacking for subject matter. Also, we could get photos from Wet Canvas's reference library, if we need to. My vote says, LET'S MOVE FORWARD!!!

Artbybet - welcome to our little world! This is just a lot of fun and there is SO-O-O-O much to learn from each other! AND - none of us bite The more people we have "playing with us" the more fun we have and the more we learn! Just jump right in and join us! Holly

Very nice photos Susan. May I suggest that each photo be posted as a separate new thread under the Weekly Photo Challenge? Same as Sailspaw was doing previously? Maybe #12 is West Coast & #13 is Vermont. It'll make it easier to add our work & view it - without one thread getting very long. Plus others may be more inclined to jump in on one of them. - Nan

I agree- lets keep this going.
Nancie is right - 1 photo per thread.
Love both the photos - Susan your 1st photo could be 2 (or more paintings) - do you have a photo of just the covered bridge? If yes, could you also post that with this one. I would love to paint a covered bridge.
Lets keep this going....
