Hey guys! I recently got this school project for ancient civilizations, and the assignment was to create a visualization that speaks the legacy of a pharaoh.
My pharaoh was thutmosis III. I took a block of stone, and broke pieces off, engraved hieroglyphs onto the side and painted scenes of his legacy on the sides. I then took super sculpey, a clay used for doll making and made a 3 inch bust of the pharaoh out of it. I then embedded it into the stone, and weighing in at 2 pounds total, it quickly became famous throughout the school. My teacher decided to keep it and show it off to all the other history teachers, and within a week, every teacher in the social sciences department had seen it, as well as the visual arts department and even guidance councellors sought it. It took a total of 10 hours to make, (I know, too much, but I'm a slow worker).

I have posted pictures of it and the original sculptures of the pharaoh that it mimics. I hope you guys like it

PS, I know this was posted in another forum, but I decided to move it here where it's more appropriate.
