I have a pencil drawing made in 1945 of my father-in-law when he was in the service.  It is signed A Grant.  Does anyone know who he is?

Why dont you show me know his full name, i think it'll be more easy to find out who is he.
I found some name that related: Albert Grant, Alistair Grant, Allan Grant, they are all the known well artist.

Try searching the internet for an image sample of the artist's signature. I know of one website off the top of my head...

This one is of the artist's that've appeared in Life magainze from 1900 to 1960 - sorry, A. Grant didn't appear - but there may be other sites.
