Me again, this was my coworker's son. This was actually my first colored pencil. I took it on as a challenge, a sort of trial by fire and boy was it ever. It took me about a year to complete. This was what started me on the journey to colored pencil discovery. Now, as long as they aren't as complicated as this one, I rather enjoy doing them.

Amazing work!! Holy cow!!! Your FIRST colored pencil!!! The time you put into this was really well spent. The reflection is really well done. The only thing that I'm wondering about is the white haze on the right side of the picture. Was it intentional. The red on the left is so clear and sharp in contrast to the haze of the right side....that's why I'm asking. Great work!!!

Thanks! It was a fun piece and I took it on because it was such a cute picture. Oh, the haze on the right is the camera flash. I couldn't get a picture of it without some part of it hitting a light source. Colored pencil is a little better at not showing a glare from flashes (unlike regular pencil), but it still shines a little. I couldn't figure out how to take a pic without glaring. Any tips?
