Not quite finished yet. Moss takes a little time...And The composition was not thought out. 
Looks like I got awhile before this will be done.

Ativa, no there will be no sky...just the ground.  I look down more than up when out walking, can't help it.....looking for those beautiful little things I can take home leaves, pebbles, rocks and flowers to press.

| WOW, it is great to see your work in progress and the finished result together. I can't believe you hadn't got the composition worked out first - this flies in the face of all I have been told in classes about planning it out before drawing! I am in awe! Jackie, Welcome to the forum, Thanks for the WOW.
Very smooth Beinfang and prismcolor pencils....This only the second drawing out of that pad...I think I would buy it again. 90% of the time I don't plan a drawing, just start with subject matter and work around it, sometimes it works and sometimes it is to the recycle bin.
Never took a class, so If you don't know the rules.......you don't know.

| Hi Rosie, What a natural talent - no classes! I totally agree, sometimes too many "rules" only inhibits some people. I am a little lazy, and take same approach as you, but seem to get a lot end up in recycling bin!!! Never mind - plenty of time to keep working at it! Love your work, much in awe! Jackie |
