Hi everyone. I have posted this on several other forums but thought that I would also put it here for those who don't get onto the other boards as much. It is a composition of several photos that I had taken at an airshow back in the summer. The format is a little different, 13x25 but that's what was required to get it all on the paper. I used Prismacolors on white Stonehenge paper.

Your work is always a joy to view! It always feels like I can walk right into your pieces, visit and then come back home. It's amazing how the lighting and colors bring back memories. This one reminded me of an auto show that I had visited several years ago...I know that these aren't cars, but it's the feeling of the day that you have produced in this piece.
Thank you...
Mike

Great colored pencil work. I know it takes a lot of patience to produce something like this. Congratulations on a job well done.............Gene

You did a fine job on these aircraft.  Note the star insignia on these planes.  That went through many changes once we got into WWII.  First to go was the red disk in the center of the star.  In combat it gave too quick a sense of the red (sun) disk used by the Japanese.

This brings back old memories of pre WWII Army Air Corps.  My old 34th Bomb Group had the old B-17B's and B-18's without tail guns and each squadron had a PT-17 so the pilots could relax and fly freely now and then.
