i agree with all that has been said....my first reaction was....~oh yesss very nice!~
one has to think outside of the box sometimes! and this proves it can end in success!
i too though, would like to see a bit more wispy fading up onto and off the top of the paper, in this case i think it would work well....left as is it feels like you ended it because the papers edge was interferring with creating the top of her head....so maybe just a tad more wispies?
~I am always doing what I cannot do yet, in order to learn how to do it~

This is beautiful and transends being just a portrait into something I think would be universally liked...meaning...you don't need to know who it is to like it.
