Just got a Prismacolor Portrait set...this will be an interesting experiment. I started out with a set of Crayola pencils (set of 12) & quickly found out how challenging it is. Guess I will just dive in & see what happens. Can you use card stock? It comes in so many colors & is so readily available. Since I live in an area where Wal-Mart is my only source I rely on Dick Blick for all supplies. In fact, Wal-Mart is nearly the ONLY store in town. We really live out in the boondocks!

yes! i have bought card stock and used it....and your right! it has some fabulous colors....
the surface can be a bit touchy if you over work it....but it holds up pretty well if ya dont get tooo rough...

hope to see your new piece soon!
