I have been out of touch for awhile. This is wonderful. I really like the texture and the use of color. Looking forward in seeing more of your work.

nice work jean.......i had noticed the new pencils by derwent, the soft ones and itched to try em!..but i havent bitten the bullet yet....

i have heard of this bloom a lot...and i have to admit that i never got this cloudy effect in my cp work...but i dont burnish the layers....i am wondering if it shows up more, with peeps who burnish?

HHello One who Sees! Thanks for looking... Yes, burnishing really brings up the "Bloom" on the colored pencil paintings. Mostly on the darker colors. But if you wipe off with a soft cloth and spray with UV resistant spray it keeps it under control. If you can afford the Derwents Coloursoft Pencils I'm sure you would like them!

oops sorry jean!..rt=real time....what it looks like in real life...vs the image that shows on here...sometimes there can be differences of lightness and i was wondering how well the photo is showing the true image....

Hello again One Who Sees!  Okay, I got that.  I think the actual image may be a little lighter so I will post it again!  I think this one is a little clearer also!

its so hard to get our images to show up well here....because of the size constraits that have to be in place.....but yes...i can see this a bit clearer now....and definetly think its a loverly piece!...
it reminds me of some shots i took of tomatoes on a white tablecloth, they are lined up and i had thought to do a cp of it...and forgot all about it!....so your piece reminded me of that long forgotten reference...so thanks for both!! lol
