Thanks everyone for the complements. Even after 60+ years I still have my marbles tucked away in a jar, even though there are those that said I had lost them years ago. I also realized while doing this piece that "playing marbles" in grade school was Pre-Gambling 101. I lost a few agees myself.

Good Luck to all

I must not be getting all of the images. Could that be? I only count about 15 in this contest, and in the Garden Angel contest, I saw about 20, in the Lands Unpainted there were about 69 entries and in the Flower Power there were 30, I think. I do think this is a great topic, however, maybe the timing, around the holidays made for the fewer number of entries. The big number in the Lands Unpainted contest probably is attributed to the fact that there always are so many landscapes painted and exhibited in almost any art show. I am still trying to get caught up on my other painting assignments to see if I can't possibly get a Best Toy Ever entry completed. I've got the toy, now need the time. There's still a week to go, right? Hmmmm.....maybe if I get off this computer and get down into my studio and get something done! Good luck to all...............Gene

Hey Rosie, thanks! Yes this is really fun, I can tell everyone is channeling their inner child. Or at least it's a good excuse to play with toys again. There's nothing wrong with cute art I think, cute objects have the same problems to solve as anthing else, shape, color, composition, even emotional attatchment. I say all the time, Paint and draw everything!

Pablo (aka: Duende), Absolutely love it! luscious colors, the plush texture on the toys is excellent.
