Thanks for your entry, bggordon. I'm enjoying this challenge immensely, because I sense the artists are having fun with the topic and putting themselves into the art. The stories behind the toys are wonderful, too.

The Classic No. 18....Always wanted one, my husband got me my radio flyer on my 25th birthday 25 years ago.
This drawing is entitled "Push me!" 8"x8" pencil and colored pencil on smooth bristol. I am really enjoying this topic, my imagination is clicking with ideas. Thank-you for letting us enter more than once, Great Topic!

| I like it better cropped. I like your pencil drawings with a splash of color for emphesis, neat technique. I always loved the smell of crayons too. |

Rosie, This is so great! The sheer love of life and of the moment for that child is so moving! I agree with the others who like the contrast between color and black and white. Barb |

Also - the grass is wonderful - such good use of shading in the negative areas. Barb |

Hey Thanks Mike... The cigarbox toys took some time I didn't have any props, left it all up to memory. Can't find the old medal jacks, just jumbo plastic ones...Rosie |

Excellent work Rosie! More more more! Love these pencil drawings. Not sure if you did this on purpose but I love the highlight on the red ball cause it looks like a heart!

I had got a glimmer of an idea, but the picture in my mind did not spread beyond the focal point...I could get my imagination to carry it any further. So I didn't push it. This is a 5x7 pencil and computer generated. I call it "This is not your toy".
