| I call this one "Pricing the Green Jug". It is a pastel on paper, 9 x 12. I used recycled pastel dust to paint the underpainting and the background. About every 6 months or so, after collecting the dust that lands on my easel, I store it and when I have enough, rewet and roll into wax paper several sticks. Whats neat about it, most of the color turns gray, but there is bits of other colors that streak out from the stick. On this piece you can see those streaks in the background, giving it some highlights. |

I am so frustrated! I've got my entry but cannot get it to uplooad. I did the "add reply" and it keeps saying my file is too big. I had my entry (along with another for the>60 contest) put on a thumb drive. The young man who took care of me assured me the file was a jpg file. both pictures together are 775 KB. so my one entry should be less.
I cannot figure out what I'm doing wrong & I don't want to miss the deadline. Help! |

| Deirdre - The size limit on this website is 100k, so the one you are trying to post is probably over that limit. Send an email off to the administrator (click on sallspaw name & it'll take you to her profile where you can email her). I have seen photos of work posted after the deadline by the administrator when she helped others who ran into a smiliar problem. - Nan |
