The name of the title is "CJ" 9X12 in pastels on tinted Canson Mi-Teintes surface and it took me three days to finish. I was given the opportunity to paint this piece from a photo as a commission. |

| This is BJ. He was my sister's dog. He died. I painted him for her, dipicted as he was leaving the earth, looking back to say "I love you" and then entering the light that took him to heaven. "BJ saw the Light" 9 x 12 oil. |

| "Reich" 11"x14" pencil. Reich was done as a commission piece. He was hurt as a puppy and his hips never recovered completely. His family took excellent care of him, and he grew to be a "big boy". It was such fun to do this one! |

I agree Maggie. These have all been wonderful. I believe that creative people are animal lovers too - and this seems to prove that statement. I want to do this challenge also - because I love my dog, and want to paint him, and it's a challenge for me (I do landscapes). I am hoping to devote November.... but I love looking at all these adorable faces!
