Congratulations to Denise (user name imke), winner of the “Super Spirals”
All-Media Paint-Off challenge with Primary Colors. Click here to see her winning painting and learn how she came up with the idea for her subject.
The "Super Spirals" challenge really pushed artists to use a wide variety of media in all kinds of styles.
Other finalists were kvb340 for Concentric Squash (watercolor, 29x21); Nebular for Bird's Eye (collage, 3x3) and Peggy SCx for Spiral Gyre in Blue
(Watercolor and metallic fluid acrylic, 15x22). You can view the work

Thank you so much to North Light Book Club and all of those who voted for my painting. This was my first time to participate and it was great fun. I am, as I'm sure most artists are, an "Art Book Junkie" so this prize is the best I could imagine.
