Hello everyone! At my wit's end, having searched the net as much as possible, I have landed up in this forum with a question. If anyone out there has this book in English (my version is in Spanish which may be what's creating my problem),perhaps you can help. On page 26, the third technique being described is 'lavado' which is usually translated as 'wash', talks about this being a fascinating technique that is not used very often. For the life of me, I cannot figure out what is being said, nor can my husband who is Spanish and an artist. If someone has this book, I would love to have the explanation and the 3 steps in English, to hopefully be able to understand what is going on because it looks like a really interesting technique. thanks, Hazy

I appreciate your response and suggestion but fail to see how it addresses my problem. The author is Hazel (not Helen) Harrison, and going to Amazon for what? To buy Hazel's book in English? I have the book, albeit in Spanish, and have no issue with the book in its entirety, just with one small piece on page 26 which for me, isn't explained clearly, and I need to have someone, who has this book in English, write to tell me what it says in English.
Still, I did go to Amazon as you suggested and all I found was a different author with different books. Any other suggestions?
thanks,
Hazy.

sorry, Hazel is the one I meant to write, with at least a dozen books on painting. I can understand your reluctance to buy the whole book new, but you might want to consider their used books if you don't get a response.

Now, I understand. Yes, buying another book in English is an option and if I don't get a response, that is what I may have to do. I'm not keen on having that solution but it may be the only one.
thanks.
