I recently rekindled my interest in doing portraits in soft pastels.  This is my work of two of my grandchildren, working from a photo.  It is 20" x 24.  I also tried oil for the first time, a portrait of my father.  Although now I see areas where I would do it differently, but it hangs on my wall and I am still very happy with it.  (so is my Dad)

You should be very proud of your accomplishments... is your father a carpenter? I noticed the tools...nice touch...keep up the good work.

These are very well done. I think no matter how well we do. We could always find that we could or want to do different. That is part of art. Will look forward to seeing more of your work.
