I painted this picture of my ornamental pond on a summer night, lit up by candles. I dragged my easel outside and painted the first session with no lighting other than the full moon and the candlelight from the pond. Two more sessions completed the painting. These were also done outside, but I used a minor lightsource in order to see what I had previously painted. This work is 16x20" water-soluble oil on gessoed Masonite.
My painting style is best described as "neo-post-impressionist". I welcome all feedback or critique, so please feel free to comment.
Thank you
Suzy
