| First of all, this is not the greatest picture, it was actually scanned in 4 different sections, then put together in Photoshop. I REALLY need to invest in a good digital camera!
Anyway, this was a commissioned piece. The little boy takes part in Civil War reenactment events, and his mother had a beautiful photo that she wanted painted.

Wow, I thought that was the reference photo, I scrolled down to see what you painted. I think who who painted this for will be thrilled!

Oh how you captured the moment in this painting. My eyes flowed throughout this picture taking in all the details and the flag vertically rises to represent the honor of the event. I really felt a sense of honor and and depth in the personality of little one. The painting is very touching.
