Should I have painted more neutrals- browns in other places in the painting? Do I need the waterline better defined? Does the fence on the left need more shadows?

Nice mood created. I do think the fence needs more shadows because I missed seeing it as a fence.

Very soothing to look at this piece of art, I also think you need to define the fence so it will stand out

This is a very beautiful painting. IMHO, yes redifine the distant shore line to level and flatten the water.
I think you have a nice balance of neutrals and browns in this painting. I agree with the others about the fence but be careful and not get too dark. It may be my monitor (so disregard if it is), but it looks like the foreground shadows could be darkened slightly. On my monitor some of the shadows appear the same value as some of the background trees. Again I want to say that this is a lovely painting.

Thank you. The shadows are darker in the foreground in the original work.
