This is a very good painting.
only thing that bothers me is the crack goiing right to the pear.
sort of distracting.

I agree with Retha - the crack ending at the pear stem is distracting. Fruit is very well rendered and feels life-like... the jar is a bit flat with the shadow on the right looking too harsh. Also, might be more interesting to mingle the wine colors up into the jar and pears a bit... and
