Its qute good, but needs work on the skintones and shading.
facial resemblence I cannot say anything because then I need to see the original or whatever she worked from.
The light seems to fall from the front if not she needs to look at the direction of that too.
Hair must have more detail to it,dark and light even though the hair is dark.

Thank you so much for commenting and leaving your thoughts! I am so impressed with Ming's talent (never took a class in art) and am encouraging her as best as I can. I truly think she has natural talent, but as we all know, technique and experience goes a long way. She will be delighted to hear another artist's point of view! Also, I will show Ming some of your work as I have been viewing works, including yours, and you are very talented!  I hope to show some of my work soon.

| I like this painting. The skintones and all that are not perfect, but what I like is that she successfully simplified and massed the various areas of the painting. The only thing that bothers me is the background, with the darker gold tones over the heads - The edges are a little hard, but edges and skintone colors will develop with more painting. |
