I'm interested in comments on the attached image altered and painted from one of my photos of a street vendor befre the day's activities have begun. "Waiting" is a watercolor, is 10 X 14 inches in size and done from one of my own photos. Bob

WOW!!
What amazing detail! I love it. You get the feeling he has been there for a while.... waiting. Each of us is able to read into it with our own experiences with waiting.
I'm a always so impressed with watercolor work like this that is so vivid and detailed and realistic. A beautiful piece of work! Thanks for sharing. It is wonderful to see the wide variety of talented people all around.
Sometimes we paint to see more clearly or to feel more deeply.

To Marian and Justin
Thanks for your response and support. I enjoy painting and spend quite a bit of time taking pictures and considering what might make a good subject. The ratio of photos to probable subjests is well below 1% so if you do likewise keep taking take many, many photos and be critical of your own work. Although I have enjoyed viewing art works for many years I am a relative newcomer to putting my likes to paint and paper. Your response is very encouraging. Thanks, Bob
