Painting in the mountains of Mexico, enjoying the cool, and away from the super-hot coast line. Thunders frequently, and cool and damp here. The town here is incredible, like I stepped back in time, 400 years. Men coming in from the field on horseback, adobe in every building, the smell of woodsmoke and the slap-slap-slap[pause]THUMP of tortillas being made by hand.Just got a rig set up to paint in my apartment with no easle. PVC pipe and cord for a hanger, and canvas pierced at the top. works fairly well. Supplies harder to get here.

Hi Katasansab, wow I could take that maybe 2 weeks, but I wonder if you are still there? and so I take it that you have your computer, that is great. I can't wait to see some of your paintings. I am new. how long will you be lost in Mexico? You should be able to make some good paintings of all that you talked about. I was just thinking of our tobacco barns smoking here in Ky. if we look around there is something to paint, never a dull day. please keep in touch. Bo
