I live in God's country in a little valley tucked in between the Cascade mountains and the Olympics just 60 miles north of Seattle. We just want you to think it rains here all the time so too many people won't want to live here. But the truth is Skagit Valley is one of the most beautiful in the country. We are with in an hours drive of both the beach and the mountains. And when the tulip fields are in bloom thousands flock here just to see the fields ablaze with color. Is it any wonder so many artists live here.

I am mainly a wildlife artist and this place abounds with subject matter. Years ago when I was doing artwork for an Alaskan company, someone, after looking at my work asked if I had ever been to Alaska. No, but we have our on little wilderness that could pass for Alaskan scenery any day (minus all the cold and snow)

I love cats (Stan and I are owned by six very demanding little furpersons) and donate my art to help animal rescue.

This looks like an interesting forum and I hope to get to know you all.
