| After 30 years "away" from my first love, I have just recently started painting again....it's a start in the road back to finding my creative self...in watercolors, primarily, and my desire is to paint portraits. I have started reading and following the book "The Artist's Way, by Julia Cameron.....I find it intriguing....has anyone else read this book and taken her 12 week course? I would be interested in hearing your thoughts, and any advise you may give on my return to true art! Thanks |

Welcome, back to eden,
Glad to hear you're coming back to painting. I haven't read Julia Cameron's book, but I know several who have. They all rave about it. |

| Glad to hear that you are coming back to your first love. I also feel like I am going through a reawakening after 2 years away from my mixed media bead work. I am reading The VanGogh Blues by Eric Maisel. I read The Artist's Way several years ago and might re-read it just to refresh my memory. Good luck. |
