Hello,
Albeit the subject is quite familiar to many of you, I am trying to select a canopy for outdoor shows in Florida. Thus, rain and wind are all potential factors. Most of the posts I have read are quite dated so I was wondering if any of the advice may have changed due to a company's improvements on design (EZ Up) or if some other canopy company has come along (Today is 04/03/2009).
I personally like the idea of a domed design not only for its wind resistance but because of its perceived feeling of openness when one walks into one. It just feels more comfortable to me and, therefore, I imagine a visitor would feel the same way. I have heard many pros and cons about EZups (mostly cons) but I was wondering if anyone has any recent experience and/or knowledge about the EZup Endeavor Domed canopy then please post a reply. I would greatly appreciate it. http://www.ezupdirect.com/ezup-instant-shelters/craftdome.php
I would not be totally resistant to buying a non-domed canopy like the EZup Encore II or Enterprise II if the current reviews were good. Anyone have any opinions and current experience on these model?
Also, when EZUP advertises "water resistance" and some of the other more expensive manufacturers claim "water proof" designs, are the former actually water proof and better quality canvases? Or is there description as being water proof more of an exaggeration?
If any one has any advice on other canopies then please feel free to post a reply with pros & cons and, if possible, a name for the canopy that can be searched or a URL for the manufacturere/dealer.
Thank you. |
