Hello fellow artists,

My passion is painting in both watercolors and soft pastels and at times  combining them in a  mixed media so I can savor both at the same time.My second great passion is travel, which I try to combine with the art. Sometimes I bring out the oils(water-miseable) just for the variety.Of course, I always take along  my art supplies.Last Fall-2007, I spent 28 days painting in northern Italy and in October-2008 I painted for two weeks in northern NY during the peak of Fall color.

Next Spring its back to Italy for a 2 week watercolor workshop with Karlyn Holman.

On a personal note, I am a widow and a retired teacher,living in Bakersfield, California. Art has been a lifetime passion and now I can indulge in it .
