Hi there. I have been receiving emails newsletters from the various artists' magazines and today I decided to take a look at the forum. Well, Pablo was showing everyone step outs of a portrait he was doing and I was compelled to join.
I live in Hollywood, Florida. I am a multi-medium artist and I don't work in one medium. I enjoy painting, pastels, pencils, polymer clay, PMC, woodwork, and more. I create jewelry, artwork of various types, and home decor.
I am a member of CHA, SDP, NPCG. Some of my work has been aired on TV, I have demonstrated in these different categories and yada yada yada.
I studied at The School of Visual Arts in Manhattan but spend many years traveling as a singer. I spent almost ten years overseas in Japan, Switzerland, Italy, the Nertherlands, Portugal and more.
Often, when I work, the colors and sensations that I experienced in those times are refelected in what I do. I am who I am because of what I've done. Life changes us. Sometimes for the better and sometimes it just changes us!
I have been refreshing my palette of late and taking out the canvases, watercolor papers and more so that I can add more of my work in this category. I do believe that this forum has a lot to offer and many talented people to motivate and teach. I do hope that I will have something to offer at some time.
I do work in the creative industry and at a large law firm so I am between two very different wolrds that graciously collide or merge from time to time. I think being ambidextrous makes it so.
My website is only partially complete and features more jewlerly than anything else at this time. Why? It was a demand and I became interested. I am working in PMC right now (precious metal clay) and hope to add much more of that to the quarry!
Sigh, so much to do, so little time.
Thank you for having me. Unless I have something usefull to say, I will remain in the humble background unless called upon.
