Hi Everyone!
I'm (pretty) new here. I'm from South Central Mississippi and I'm a Graphic Designer by trade and a "jack of all trades" when it comes to art. Although I love to try my hand at a little of everything - from watercolor to pen & ink to acrylic to printmaking to pottery and papier maché and now I've had someone ask me to do an oil painting - I haven't had much time really since college. (And as you can see I specialize in run on sentences!)
I am determined to get back to creating!
This is a recent watercolor. I do most of my work from my imagination or from photos.

Welcome to the forum. Interesting painting. Do you always use a dark palette? I like this painting. I would like to see your oil painting.

Thanks, Leon. My palette is predominantly dark, but I'm pretty "eclectic"!
I haven't started the oil painting yet, and I'm nervous about starting it. I haven't used oils in at least 15 years!
I've done a little with acrylic and watercolor, but mostly pen and inks, or pencil sketches, and I love playing with my camera! But, I've been in a real RUT since I finished college and started working full time and have had very little time for art.
That is changing!
