Aloha to you all!

Although I am not Hawaiian, I love the sentiment! My husband and I lived there for a little over 4 years, and I miss it EVERYday! Actually, I grew up in New York and I am currently living in New England.

I am really looking forward to sifting through the posts here for inspiration and ideas from all of you fellow artists. To start, I find much of my inspiration from nature. The play of color at sunset, the patterns of overlapping leaves on a tree, the shape an old barn's shadow creeping across the field; inspiration is everywhere you look! What's yours?

I've had such fun reading up on everyone's questions and posts! I love talking about art to the point that I had made my hubby take an art history class with me years ago so that he'd love it as much as I do! It makes museum trips really interesting.
