    Hello Everyone!
I'm looking forward to getting to know more artists form around the globe. I am a realist who works in oil, pastel and pencil, I'm 27 and have been at it since I was two.

Feel free to check out my site and let me know what you think.

Wow! I am also new and I am just awed by your work! I also paint in a realistic style and appreciate the trend away from abstraction. You can see my work at www.gallery-north.org, my name is Jonella Moore. Did you take a lot of formal traing? i.e. degree, etc? I have never had formal training and wish I had done so when I was young, but time flies...

Jonella, Thanks! I find your compliment very humbling. It's good to rub shoulders with fellow realists. In response to your question, I actually have no formal training or degree. I've been drawing since I was 2 and art has always been my passion. I checked out your site and admire the fact that you like to explore so many mediums, I'm looking forward to seeing more from you.

Greetings Eric,
Incredible painting and at your young age.
I have a painting I may work on again - after years of it sitting around.
If - you will share with me how you achieved the textured /realism of your peaches.
Realism requires to much, for me now - but I can certainly appreciate allot of the work
that is required.

Connie, I'd be happy to share with you how I paint peaches. Unfortunately, I don't really know how to "say" it, so I think I'll do a painting with peaches, take pictures of the progress and explain as I go along. It might take a while, I have a couple pieces in the cue that need to be finished first. I hope you don't mind.

This is my first try at a portrait. I find that oil gives me time to blend. This is "Noah's wife- day 41"  14 x 18 oil on canvas. I'm still working on her face contrast.

Excellent work , Eric!!!
I briefly visited your website...your work is amazing!
You have already achieved at the young age of 27, what I've been striving for my entire life...beautiful, beautiful work!
