I like this forum. The sharing is very inspiring and helpful.

I am working strickly with acrylics right now, but will probably start with oils soon. I am mostly interested in scenes with people or animals and loose portraits. But since I have started painting again (after decades of non-activity), I keep changing my perspective, motivation, vision and technique. So it must mean I am still developping.

I too am new to the site and am looking forward to talking with other artists. I work in oils, painting on wood mainly. I also enjoy doing small clay sculptures and making clay tiles. I relax in the evenings working on pen and ink stipplings or reading, while watching television. My children are grown, moved out and have families of their own. I am now retired and enjoy spending my time enjoying my youngest grandchildren and being creative. Yes, I am also part of the older members group in this forum.
