Hi!!! I just discovered this forum a few days ago and I finally gathered the courage to register and post. I think this place is wonderful. 

I've been drawing since I was three and I've always felt comfortable with lines. I have all of these wonderful (according to reports) sketches. I had always wanted to paint, so a few years ago, I bought a whole lot of materials for oil painting. I played with the stuff, but I really didn't know what I was doing. Everything just sat there for a few years.  I decided to take a paint class about seven weeks ago and I am now HOOKED! All this time, I was just intimidated by all of the colors.
