Hello. I'm a new member living in the Land of Enchantment, otherwise known as New Mexico, USA. I began painting as a hobby in 1967, and went on to earn both my BFA and MFA degrees in studio art in more recent years - in other words, as an oldster among youngsters.

Cheers!

Greetings from Land of Enchantment, USA

Hi Jim,

I just joined this site a few moments ago. Wow, it's great! I'm also an "old timer" and I'm very glad to see I'm not the only one!!!

I am new to this wonderful society of artists, and I am absolutely amazed at how friendly and supportive you all are. All the comments I have received have been constructive, and encouraging. I plan to be around for a long time.

Hi .. I'm new here. I lived in NM for four years and it's landscape is so engraved in my mind!  Everything I paint wants to be Southwest...living in WV..it's not well recieved. But I paint what I love!

Another oldster here too, had to put my career on hold for a few years. I am definitely enchanted with NM. and would love to live there, but live in OK. for now. Welcome and I look forward to seeing your work.
