Hi all, My name is Myk and I live in beautiful Whatcom County, Washington. I am not only a newbie here but am also a newbie to the world of art. I do draw a mean stick man though. The only medium I have worked with is oil but am curious to try other mediums. I must say I am quite impressed with all of the wonderful art that you all have put up on this site. I can only hope to nurture the talents you all posess. Looking forward to your tips, comments and suggestions.

Sticks can be a beginning and can be called "gesture" drawings...try starting with the sticks and then try adding volume. You might be surprised.
