Just found the site today. Love it. I'm 36, live in KY and mostly do landscape painting, unless my wife forces me to paint the good ol' vase and flowers. She says one of these days I'm gonna make her rich with my paintings. Oh well, as long as she buys my suppies we'll be ok.
Fell on my butt about a month ago when we had an ice storm. Tore two ligaments and the cartilage in my knee. Haven't been able to paint since. Can't stand and can't seem to get the right angles when I'm sitting. Driving me crazy. I did work on a desert scene for a bit last week, but my knee hurts so much that it's hard to keep steady. I kinda feel lonely when I can't paint. Like something's missing.
Having surgery in a week and a half. Two more weeks after that and I should be able to stand. Hopefully get back to work. Will post some pics soon. |
