Why does someone have to put up more than one painting at a time? What is the reasoning behind this. Is there any consideration taken to the artwork of others on the same forum. Yes I'm talking about the Pastel forum. There is no reason to throw up 10 or more paintings at one time to dominate said forum. One at a time is plenty. Give others the chance to critique, admire and be inspired by the work. If you put to many up they all blend into each other and the personality of each is diminished. It also keeps other artists off the front page because of the abundance of one persons art. Is this rude or am I the only one who feels this way! Jim www.paintingsbyjim.com

I agree with ya Jim I think that if you want a solid critique on a painting....it really should be posted on it's own. I know that if I see multiple posts by the same person....I tend to just pick the one I like best and comment on THAT one. And although I am not currently a pastel artist.....I can see how frustrating it must be to try to get your work noticed in there. Jess

One at a time seems like plenty to me. But hey I'm just a nooby.

I agree--too many paintings is difficult because I don't have that much time to comment well. I think people are just excited to show their work and hear from someone, but they forget this network is not easy to navigate--esp for a newbe like me.
