Hello- I've got a question about those times that I paint from a photo which is not my own! I have been given permission from a wildlife photgrapher to use his images in my paintings-what if I wish to enter it it into a show-at Artist Network, for example. Would my "interpretaion" of his photo be allowed??? Thanks for a reply,

welcome to the artists network!

as long as the photographer gave you permission to use the image...then your all set....as far as entering into a show, juried or not...your okay in that respect as well....as long as its not a drawing from life show...your all set!
