This painting depicts a scene in Green Park, London. I took a the photo a year ago in summer. It is not yet autumn and the leaves are still green. But the characters in the scene are in the autumn of their lives, hence the topic. Used Sanders Waterford 650gms rough paper.

I really like this , well done and is very pleasing to the eye . A comment regarding your title though, my eye is first drawn to and wants to return to the couple highlighted by the brightness at the end of the path so they seem to be the centre of interest . perhaps it's just me though. |

| Thanks, Kathy and Pearl for your comments. When I started painting, the people on the bench were the focus, the two figures at the distance were of a minor interest, though they were in the reference photo, then I added the dog.Since they are walking into the light and the people in the bench were looking at them, it seems they have cornered more glory than intended! |
