This is a simple study done quickly to capture a moment..this is the second one in a series, the first one is on my blog. I might do more, bees are hard to capture and i need the practice.

You have caught the moment ( and bee ) delightfully Priti . Good colours and use of light and dark.
Loose but enough detail to say what you want .

Thank you Pearl and Jim. Painting loosely is a good, fun exercise - very painterly but sometimes disappointing because it is not "photographic."

The second bee is more precise but I still like the first bee best.

Hi, the looseness of the first painting and the use of colours make it very dynamic.

Both paintings are beautiful. I love flash splash painting. If a person wants photo realism just use a camera. Why waste good pigments.

Lung Tom: Lung is Thai for "Uncle" the u is pronounced as a oo as in loose.
