Just finished this - 9 x 12 on 140 lb. cold-pressed watercolor paper. My second foray into the wet in wet technique. Imagination only. I had trouble with the mother deer- I wasn't sure on the value to paint her or if I should have made her a bit more mistier. Any comments welcome. I inadvertantly didn't preserve enough white , especially in the mist. Next time-lol. Would appreciate your opinions...Nina

This is really, really lovely , perhaps just a wee bit darker on both deer would be a good ides as I didn't notice the baby at first. Please don't touch the flowers as I think they are gorgeous as is .
