Hi everyone. . . I'm new to your forum and hope I can learn everrything you all know about watercolor.  I just introduced myself in the new member place but wanted to tell you, too.

I have just started back with watercolor in the last few months.  I painted in college (long time ago) but not since.  Anyway, this is my daughter, Cary.  My 4th attempt.  Arches 140lb and mostly W/N paints.

Keep it up! Nice work! I can't figure it out exactly, but there seems to be something
a little off about the eyes. It may just be the angle of the left eye in comparison to the
rest of the face. The eyes are nicely done though.

Thank you all for your nice comments.  Jim, do you think it could be that the left eye (hers)tends to slant up and the outside edge, and the right one slants down slightly?  They don't do that in real life!  but maybe it was the angle of the photograph.  Maybe I can change it slightly.  Thanks.
